A professional couple approached me shortly after purchasing a newly built house and were after custom furniture pieces and art to work with some of their existing pieces. The brief from my client was to create a home that was full of colour and fun which really reflects their personality! With their love of travel and photography, I drew upon this as inspiration which can be seen throughout with an eclectic mix of textures and patterns.

My clients have been such a delight to work with. They approached me shortly after purchasing the newly built house and were after custom furniture pieces and art to work with some of their existing pieces.

We custom designed a built in bench seating area in this space which created a gorgeous nook for their daughter to read and lounge about on.
We treated the dull fireplace with simple shiplap cladding painted in a
dark charcoal to add drama to the space and draws the eye to the
center of the room.

One of the challenges with this project was the very large and long open plan living/dining/kitchen area. With a central fireplace that was originally rendered brick, they wanted the fireplace to be a focal point in the room.

I first started with planning out the position of the furniture in the large open area and how we could best zone the living and dining areas. We added in some lovely reading and lounge nooks within the space to overcome the empty corners of the room.

The Master Bedroom, Upstairs Lounge and Kids Playroom were also fully furnished and the clients just love being able to relax and enjoy their home they feel comfortable and able to relax with their beautiful family.
